WMNLA Spring 2026 Mixer

The WMNLA Spring Mixer was held on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at Main Street Pub in Allendale, Michigan, bringing together industry professionals for an evening of connection and insight. Guests were welcomed with a complimentary drink ticket courtesy of Professional Grounds Services and enjoyed a diverse selection of appetizers throughout the event.

The evening featured a series of engaging TED-style talks from industry leaders including Keith Johnston of Landscape Design Services, Inc., Tony Thom of Spring Meadow Nursery, Inc., Jacob Doornbos of Great Lakes Landscape Supply, Nate Weaver of Michigan Wood Fibers LLC, and Josh Roggenbuck of Walters Gardens, Inc. Their presentations offered valuable perspectives and sparked meaningful conversations among attendees.

Beyond the presentations, the mixer provided ample opportunity for networking, allowing participants to strengthen existing relationships and forge new connections within the Green Industry community.

February 2026 Monthly Meeting Wrap-up

The WMNLA February Meeting was held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at Michigan Wood Fibers LLC in Zeeland, Michigan.

Attendees gathered for an engaging afternoon that combined industry insight with warm hospitality, beginning with a delicious lunch graciously provided by the host. The program featured informative presentations from two expert speakers. Dee Thomas of the Michigan Center for Truck Safety delivered an important update on current regulations, while Heather Darling of Fleet Compliance Group, Ltd. offered valuable guidance on navigating licensing requirements.

October 2025 Monthly Meeting Wrap-up

The WMNLA October Meeting took place on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at Walk Your Plans of West Michigan in Wyoming, MI.
Attendees enjoyed lunch while listening to presentations by Marley Wolff and Andrew Roszkowski, Land Use Specialists for Ottawa County speaking on “Challenging Groundwater Conditions”; and Robert Rossow, Owner of Walk Your Plans of West Michigan, who gave information and a demonstration of services.
